Hi Mike, just wanted to say thank you for sharing your music for all these years. You’ve changed my taste in music for the better your time and care in putting together this podcast is very very much appreciated. Wishing you all the very best, and I’ll be looping through the archive quite happily!
So sorry to hear that you are retiring your podcasts. I lost track of you for a while but I am now working my way through your archive. Just finished listening to Podcast 306 which is just fabulous. Thank you for your massive contribution to the folk scene and I wish you well.
I guess that this time the retirement does mean the end of the Folk Show. Over the years you have provided entertainment for millions over the airwaves and to thousands on stage. A workshop you held half a century ago encouraged me to pick up a concertina – when I could eventually afford one. And I learned not to put a raw egg in a leaky radiator. Thanks and Best Wishes.
Hi Mike, l have listened on and off for a few years now, but lately your choice of music has accompanied me to and from hospital for daily radiotherapy sessions, so feeling even more grateful for what you have done over the years.
Bestwishes

Thanks for all the great episodes full of cracking music. Your hard work in spreading the joy of Folk Music is and has been appreciated.
Thank you, for all that you have done. It will be sad, but I also pray that others pick up the mantle.
